Enacting autism inclusion (http://enactingautisminclusion.ca) is a research collaboration with colleagues in Canada led by Patty Douglas, Brandon University) which seeks to understand autism and inclusion from the perspectives of those who have attracted or claimed the label of autism and inclusion.

The project draws on a creative and innovative digital story telling methods in which people are able to tell their stories of autism.  These stories trouble and disrupt dominant narratives of autism and inclusion and demand creative responses to difference. The project pushes at the boundaries of what it means to be recognised within the register of the human.
