iHuman is home to a number of research themes:

Dis/abled Humans, Biological Altered Humans, Living and Dying Humans, Enhanced Humans, Performing Humans, Human Rights, Science, Public and the Human.

We analyse and promote innovative thinking about what it means to be human in modern times, and the relationship between changing boundaries and social justice.

We have so far received over one million pounds from funding councils including ESRC and Leverhulme to research some of the most pressing issues facing today’s society.
